Why Home Staging, Organizing, and Styling?
I started out organizing the many details of planning a Wedding and designing intimate event spaces when I opened Moxie Events, Eugene’s Premier Wedding Planning business about 13+ years ago. Since then, I’ve organized 100’s of my clients details for them and styled/transformed just as many of their event spaces. This has translated well into home organization, de-cluttering, staging and design. Nothing pleases me more than to help a client feel less scattered, less stressed by creating amazingly organized and beautiful spaces that people want to enjoy, relax, and even celebrate in.
Tell us about the Moxie Design/Style and inventory.
Like the definition of Moxie, I have a great eye for design as well as skill to execute a vision in just about any space to create that energy in which one can envision themselves enjoying and living in. I have a mix of inventory that fits contemporary, modern, rustic, industrial and elegant decor palettes as well as furniture that integrates both masculine and feminine touches.
Tell us about your Eugene Roots.
I am an Oregon Native, born on the Oregon coast and raised in the beautiful Eugene/Springfield area. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to over 35+ countries, but feel so lucky after every trip when I land back in our amazingly gorgeous state. I feel incredibly fortunate to live in the Eugene/Springfield area.
What is a cause you are passionate about?
I value teaching/passing along my knowledge of event planning/execution, event and home design, and food/beverage marketing expertise to others who’s dream it is to become an event planner, home stager/designer, or work in the culinary/hospitality industry. Even if it means I’m training my future competition, it’s a huge value of mine to empower and train others to feel confident and be successful in their dream job!
